Percussion Therapy

Percussion therapy uses rapid, repetitive pressure and vibration to target specific areas of muscle and soft tissue.

At Dynamic Therapy, percussion therapy is primarily used as part of a broader treatment approach rather than as a treatment on its own. A percussion device can be used to work through areas of muscular tension, increase local circulation and prepare soft tissue for hands-on treatment.

The intensity and duration are adjusted according to the individual and the area being treated. It may be incorporated into a Sports Massage session before hands-on work, during treatment, or as part of recovery-focused treatment.

Percussion therapy can be particularly useful for active clients who place regular physical demands on their bodies, helping to complement hands-on techniques and support comfortable movement and recovery.

Your therapist will determine whether percussion therapy is appropriate for your treatment and how it should be incorporated into the session.
